SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric lighting fixtures and can be used in outdoor (street) illumination networks combined with various light sources with a controlled power supply unit for organising a reduced power consumption mode at night time. The claimed apparatus for controlling the level of the light flux of a street lamp comprises a process controller 1, a wireless communication module 2, an electronic thermostat 3 equipped with a heating element, and a controlled power source 4. The output of the process controller 1 is connected with the dimming input of the power supply unit of the street lamp 5 with a light source 6. The output of the wireless communication module 2 is connected with the input for receiving signals from the process controller 1. The power supply of the process controller 1 and the wireless communication module 2 is organised from the controlled power source 4, the signal input whereof is connected to the electronic thermostat 3 for receiving control signals. The wireless communication module 2 is configured to receive and process signals from global navigation satellite systems.

EFFECT: expanded operational capabilities with increased security of operation and reduced costs for electrical power and maintenance of the power supply networks.
