FIELD: metal casting.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a component system for curing mixtures of molding materials, a mixture of molding materials for metal casting and a method for producing molds, rods or molds. The component system contains spatially separated polyol component and isocyanate component. The polyol component contains benzyl ether-type phenolic resin and a solvent, at least 95 wt.% of which is a non-polar solvent. Benzyl ether-type phenolic resin contains at least one phenol as a monomeric component, which is substituted along aromatic ring by an aliphatic hydrocarbon group with 11-26 carbon atoms and 0-4 double bonds.
EFFECT: present invention provides the component system in which benzyl ether-type phenolic resin is completely soluble in the non-polar solvent and, thus, is uniformly dissolved without or only with insignificant amounts of co-solvents.
