FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used as a binder based on lignosulfonates for self-hardening molding and core sands. The binder contains, wt.%: lignosulfonate with a mass fraction of dry substances of at least 50% 40-50, amide borate compound 15-25 and water 25-45. The amido borate compound contains ammonium diformamide tetraborate of the formula (NH4)2B4O7·2HCONH2⋅4H2O or dimethylformamide ammonium tetraborate of the formula (NH4) (NH4)2B4O7·2HCONC2H6·4H2O.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the rate of cold curing, to increase the strength and survivability, to improve the formability and to reduce the crumbling of molding and core sands.
