FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metals protection against damage associated with corrosion and corrosion and mechanical lesions, namely-to water-based solutions to obtain magnetite coatings on steel protecting metal after oiling from atmospheric corrosion to increase the service life of steel products. A solution contains sodium nitrate, magnesium sulfate, ammonium salt, amide and water, wherein the ammonium salt contains ammonium tetraborate monoethanolamine ammonium tetrahydrate of composition (NH4)2B2O7⋅NH2C2H4OH⋅4H2O, as well as amide- dizinkgeksaborat tetrakarbamid dihydrate of composition Zn2B6O4⋅4N2H4CO⋅2H2O.
EFFECT: improving the quality of magnetite coating on the steel surface.
