SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of visual control of damage to railway infrastructure using UAVs. The complex includes an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) “Tachyon”, which makes it possible to search for contact network breaks on the railway, its heating, and damage to adjacent equipment using video surveillance, the launch is carried out from a pneumatic catapult from the roof of a UAZ “Patriot” road-rail car, the receiver and transmitter of information from the UAV to the operator are also included, removable fasteners for installing a pneumatic catapult that can change the angle of launch of the UAV, it is possible to follow the UAV along railway tracks, loading the UAV onto the vehicle, recharging, launching without disassembly and collecting components.

EFFECT: possibility of installing a pneumatic catapult with a UAV on a UAZ “Patriot” road-rail car to follow the UAV along the railway track in the process of conducting a survey of the railway infrastructure is realized.
