SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology, in particular to devices and methods for detecting impurities in transmission oil and determining the degree of its contamination. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quickly monitor the condition of transmission oil in gearboxes, drive axles of transport vehicles and gearboxes of lifting machines and auxiliary mechanisms.
