SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computing technology for video rendering. The technical result is achieved by a computer-implemented method for rendering, involving: generating one or several reference images; encoding one or several reference images for a partial set of encoder parameters; comparing for each encoded reference image one or several first perceived qualities with one or several second perceived qualities, wherein the correspondence between said one or several first perceived qualities and said one or several second perceived qualities, as a result, leads to the linking of one or several parameters of the encoder with the corresponding profile of rendering quality parameters; and generating a rendered image with the perceived quality substantially identical to the quality of the encoded frame.

EFFECT: increased quality of the encoded video.
