FIELD: information security.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of preventing unauthorised remote information access to a mobile phone by using a shielding protective case. To realise the described result, the apparatus for protecting information exchange when using a personal electronic apparatus is made in the form of a protective case containing two parallel walls produced by folding a single sheet and connected at two sides by bending to form an inner pocket intended to accommodate a personal electronic apparatus. Each of the parallel walls consists of four layers: one outer layer made of nylon and three inner layers made of a shielding conductive material consisting of copper, nickel and nylon. The inner layer closest to the personal electronic apparatus is covered with black conductive paint and consists of 64% nylon, 31% copper-nickel coating, and 5% carbon conductive paint. In the closed state, the case constitutes a closed shielding space operating by the principle of a Faraday cage, with a calculated attenuation of the radio signal of no less than 65 dB in the range from 13 MHz to 6 GHz, and the open side of the case is made by bending and equipped with a magnetic flap. The apparatus provides high efficiency in the process of use.

EFFECT: implementation of the purpose of the claimed solution, namely, expansion of the range of means capable of scaling the size while eliminating the possibility of unauthorised remote access to personal electronic apparatuses by blocking radio signals and preventing possible remote activation of the microphone of the personal electronic apparatus.
