FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: friction force monitoring system for the middle chutes of a drag conveyor comprises a drag conveyor system and a detection system. The drag conveyor system consists of the body (9) of the machine, middle chutes (5), traction supports (2), scrapers (3), a double chain (4), a sprocket (7), a speed reducer (6), an electric engine (8), and a frequency converter (13). The detection and monitoring system consists of force reception modules (1), a three-dimensional force sensor (12), and a pre-installed temperature sensor (11).

EFFECT: friction force monitoring system is configured to monitor impact loads, the friction force, coefficients of friction, temperature between the ring chain, coal mass and the middle chutes of the drag conveyor in difficult and complex working conditions, as well as provide technical means of developing, executing safe preliminary warning and estimating the performance capacity of the drag conveyor, and can provide basic data for studying the friction wear and the fatigue braking mechanism of the middle chutes of the drag machine.
