SUBSTANCE: this invention is a system for diagnosing malfunctions of chain scraper conveyors, comprising an outlet of strain gauges attached to the upper end surface of the teeth of the sprocket scraper conveyor. Strain rosette is connected to a signal acquisition unit fixed on a scraper conveyor drum; the signal acquisition unit sends the acquired signal to the wireless receiving device in a wireless transmission manner, and the wireless receiving device transmits the obtained acquired signals to an industrial personal computer via the USB interface. Diagnostic method consists of three stapes: chain dislocation and chain jumping fault judgment, chain breakage fault judgment, and chain clamping fault judgment.
EFFECT: invention provides technical support for comprehensive monitoring of the condition of the scraper conveyor chain by measuring the amount of tension of the sprocket teeth in different directions in real time, transmitting the acquired signals to the industrial personal compute over a wireless network and dynamically diagnosing failures of jamming, shifting, slipping and breaking of the scraper conveyor circuit based on the obtained data on tension.
