SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of monitoring a scraper conveyor chain. The system comprises a gear torsion detection device, a locking device, a wireless receiver, an analog-to-digital converter, and an industrial computer. The relative torque of the two gears is converted into a change in the density of the torsion spring. The light transmission area is converted to the current value by the laser touch panel. The changing range of the torsion spring is calculated by the industrial computer using a predefined threshold value and a proprietary program to monitor the operating conditions of the chain.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of monitoring of the scraper conveyor chain.
