FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of generating electrical energy by electric machines and concerns the features of the generator excitation control device used at power stations. The objective of the proposed technical solution is to increase reliability of backup exciter system of synchronous generator by ensuring uninterrupted operation and preset modes of power plants generating equipment. Backup exciter device of a synchronous generator based on a reactive-valve generator contains rectifier, filters, control panel, quadrature current generator, microprocessor system, driver blocks, valve switch, current sources, shaft, non-winding rotor with poles, stator with poles alternately covered by phase windings and control windings arranged in a certain step, comparator, quality control unit for generated electricity, and additionally introduced the generator BOP needs buses, an electric motor, transformer BOP needs, the excitation winding of the synchronous generator, stator of the synchronous generator, transformer of the generator BOP needs, output of the generator BOP needs, is connected to the electric motor and the transformer of economic needs, the output of the electric motor by means of a shaft is connected to a reactive-valve generator, the output of the transformer of economic needs is connected to a rectifier, the quality control unit of the generated electricity is connected to the input of the generator excitation winding, the output of which is connected to stator input of the synchronous generator, the outputs of which are connected to transformer input of generator BOP needs and consumers of electricity.
EFFECT: reliability of backup exciter system of synchronous generator is increased by ensuring uninterrupted operation and preset modes of power plants generating equipment.
