FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to methods and devices for measuring magnetic and electric fields generated by ferromagnetic objects. The effect is achieved by the fact that the measurements of the magnetic field of the controlled object are carried out from a mobile platform moving along the route points planned along the object, taking into account the speed of the object, at each of the i points of the platform movement route, its position and position of the object are determined and the gradients of constant and variable magnetic fields of the object and their orthogonal projections on the axis of the rectangular coordinate system at the current time Ti, the measured values are transmitted in the form of a digital signal to the control unit, where the mean square values of the magnetic field gradients and the distance from the object to the platform Li are calculated for each of the i points of the route at time Ti and the rate of change of the scalar and vector values of the magnetic field gradients is determined, the anomalous magnetization of the object is determined by the magnitude of the gradients and the rate of their change.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy, information content and reliability of the measurement results of the signature of the object.
