FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a liquid stable vaccine contributing to protection of cattle from a clinical disease occurring due to an infection caused by the infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus (IBR), wherein the described liquid stable vaccine comprises live attenuated IBR with 10 to 30% (weight/volume) of sorbite, and an amount of an amino acid selected from the group consisting of 0.17 to 0.46 mol of arginine or combined total 0.2 to 0.6 mol of arginine and glutamic acid; and wherein the liquid stable vaccine has a pH of 6.0 to 8.0. Also presented is a method for vaccination of cattle for the purposes of contributing to protection against a clinical disease occurring due to an infection caused by IBR, including administering a liquid stable vaccine to cattle according to any of claims 1 to 4.
EFFECT: invention expands the range of means for protection of cattle from clinical diseases of an infectious nature.
