SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixers of bulk materials; it is intended for processing and storage of bulk materials in various industries and agriculture. A device for mixing bulk materials includes a container for bulk material made in the form of a rectangular section cup consisting of a fixed horizontal bottom, two opposing vertical parallel walls rigidly attached to the bottom, two lateral opposing movable walls installed with the possibility of reversible movement in the horizontal direction, and a drive kinematically connected to movable walls. Movable walls are made of two truncated rectangular parallelepipeds of the same configuration, surfaces of parallelepipeds facing inside the container are made in the form of a working surface of a non-rotating straight bulldozer blade and are installed with an inclination to the inner plane of the horizontal bottom and at an angle to inner surfaces of opposing vertical parallel walls.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the mixing process of a wide class of bulk materials by intensive longitudinal, transverse and vertical movement of layers of bulk materials, as well as a reduction in capital and energy costs for mixing, storage and shipment of bulk materials after storage in large unit capacity productions.
