SUBSTANCE: method contains following stages: the first stage of determination, in which the actual radius RFL, RFR, RRL and RRR is determined by comparing angular velocities of wheels and using an arbitrary equation linking four actual radii RFL, RFR, RRL and RRR to each other, while RFL, RFR, RRL and RRR are respectively the radius of the left front wheel, the radius of the right front wheel, the radius of the left rear wheel, and the radius of the right rear wheel; the second stage of determination, at which the relative radius of each of four wheels is determined based on actual radii determined at the previous stage and based on the maximum actual radius determined at the specified previous stage; a stage of diagnosing a pumping state of each of wheels based on values of relative radii determined at the previous stage.
EFFECT: possibility to detect the lowered state of several vehicle tires and monitor different levels of the lowered state of the specified tires.
