FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to continuous production of steel from iron ore charge, can be used at metalworking enterprises, metallurgical combines. The unit is made in the form of a multi-stage lined body. Placed inside the body on the first stage are a charge-heating apparatus, an exhaust gas afterburning system formed by perforated walls for supplying oxygen through said walls, a perforated wall for supplying natural gas, a water-cooled barrier, and a taphole for flushing slag. Located on the second stage are a scrap supply hole and a perforated hearth for supplying oxygen to the melt and a taphole for tapping the steelmaking slag. And located on the third stage are a window for supplying alloying materials into the melt, a perforated wall for supplying argon, a hole for inert gas discharge, a vacuum degasser with a technical hole for creating a vacuum, electrodes for heating the metal, a hole for releasing steel, and a window for flushing slag.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing heat losses, reducing the volume of hazardous emissions into the environment and simplifying the structure.
