FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used in apparatuses providing maneuvering and positioning of ships. The water jet thrusting apparatus includes a flow channel body, a pump containing a shaft and a hub with impeller vanes secured thereon and connected with the channel body by means of power elements. A drive electric engine with a stator and a rotor is placed in the wall of the flow channel, the pump blades are secured on the annular rotor of the electric engine. The hub of the pump is made of two coupled parts with a shaft installed therein. The part of the hub with the blades secured thereon is made movable, and the second part with the power elements is made immovable. The power elements are made in the form of a structure serving as a straightener.
EFFECT: dimensions of the thrusting apparatus are reduced and efficiency and reliability thereof are increased.
