FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention constitutes an application of a composition containing an effective amount of at least one lipopeptide produced by at least one strain of Bacillus sp. as a biostimulator for plant growth, wherein the lipopeptide is selected from iturin, surfactin and fengycin, or a mixture thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to an application of lipopeptides as a biostimulating agent for plant growth, as well as to a biostimulating composition containing lipopeptides, to a method for producing such a composition, and to a method for promoting the growth of a plant material by means of application of the composition. The invention also relates to seeds coated with the biostimulating composition.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of increasing plant growth.
