FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of water propellers acting directly upon the water and the body of a non-rotating floating craft. To set in motion, maneuvering and braking, a floating craft with a truncated underwater part, at least on one side, gas is supplied at a pressure sufficient to form gas bubbles in the water column in the immediate vicinity of the lower tip of the truncated underwater part of the floating craft.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the floating craft and a reduction in fuel consumption is achieved.
