SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of connecting parts of load-bearing and enclosing structures. The method for execution of field joints on high-strength bolts with controlled tension consists in the fact that the bolted joint is prepared and assembled on a bolt using lubricant to ensure acoustic contact, an acoustic emission signal converter is installed, and then the bolts are tightened, the acoustic emission signals are recorded and, based on the results of the analysis of the received acoustic emission signals, the quality of the bolted joint is estimated, according to the invention, a test load is applied to the bolt, exceeding the preset tension force by 5 to 10%, holding is conducting, wherein the acoustic emission signals are recorded during said holding, the load is reduced to the required tightening force, and the bolted joint is secured with a nut tightened until the load secured by the loading apparatus starts to reduce.
EFFECT: possibility of application of continuous monitoring of bolts during the execution of bolted joints for possible fracture growth.
