FIELD: aircraft construction, ship building, mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: measurement devices to determine efforts of axial tightening of bolts are installed under heads of bolts prior to test of samples of joints. Bolts are tightened with effort from 0 to 80% of preset breaking force. Samples of joints are heated and loaded with tensile force in tearing machine till they break. Values of loads acting on samples of joints and values of tightening efforts are measured in this case simultaneously and continuously. Strength of detachable joints of structures are found with allowance for value of axial tightening for break of samples of joints on it. EFFECT: possibility of evaluation of effect of efforts of axial tightening on strength of members of structure. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
