FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle axles. The split drive axle includes the middle, left, right crankcase and half axles. The middle crankcase has a hollow body with holes at the ends, the upper and lower. The hole at one end is provided with a connecting cover, at the other with a connecting frame. An element of the main drive connected to the lid and frame is installed in the upper hole. The lower one is an observation window. The left and right crankcases are a hollow housing. One end of the left and right crankcase has a flange. The right crankcase is hermetically connected to the hole at one end of the middle crankcase with a bolt, and the left one with a bolt through the connecting cover. The inner walls of the left and right crankcases next to the middle one are equipped with reinforcing support rings of half axles. The ends removed from the middle crankcase are welded to the support shafts of the wheel disc, equipped with a brake element and a transmission element. The half axles are coaxially located in the left and right crankcases. One end of each half-axle is connected to the main drive element. The other is designed to be connected to the transmission element after a hermetically sealed connection with the possibility of rotation with the main drive element. The shaft passes through the support rings of the half axles.
EFFECT: invention provides automatic lubrication in the crankcase cavities and increase in the stability of the axle.
