SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology, and more precisely to the field of non-contact target sensors that respond to the approach and contact with external bodies. The non-contact target sensor contains a series-connected microwave signal generator, a sensing element, a microwave signal detector and a voltage amplifier, while the output of the power supply is connected to the input of the microwave signal generator and the second inputs of the microwave signal detector and voltage amplifier. The output of the voltage amplifier is the output of the non-contact target sensor, while the sensing element contains a symmetrical microstrip line, which is made in the form of two conductors located on the PCB substrate, and the ends of the conductors located on one side of the symmetrical microstrip line are the input and output of the sensing element, respectively. The sensor is designed to operate in the decimeter wavelength range, has the function of in-depth initiation of the ammunition charge, which registers the moment when a certain cross-section of the ammunition crosses the target body.

EFFECT: simplifying the design of the sensitive element, increasing the manufacturability of manufacturing, expanding the functionality.
