FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: composition, the use of a composition, and a method for antimicrobial and/or antioxidant treatment of biofilms present in water-containing liquids are proposed. The composition contains micelle-forming solubilizate, biologically degradable antimicrobial active substance and fruit acid. Micelle-forming solubilizate includes a plant extract, an emulsifier with HLB-value from 8 to 18, as well as water. Antimicrobial active substance is selected from peroxides, hypochlorites, hypochlorous acid and a combination thereof. The method includes the injection of the effective amount of the composition.
EFFECT: inventions provide for highly effective enhanced action against microorganisms.
