SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for reducing resource use by an application. An unload queue is managed in a computing device to transfer the content received in the computing device to a cloud service. It is determined, whether the automatic unloading process should be performed by checking a state of the unload queue, including, whether the unload queue is indicated as being in a canceled suspension state or a suspension state, wherein the state of the unload queue contains the canceled suspension state and the suspension state. After checking the state of the unload queue and while the unload queue is indicated to be in the canceled suspension state, the automatic unloading process is carried out in the computing device by transferring the content specified as new in the unload queue to the cloud service using a network resource of the computing device. Apart from checking the state of the unload queue and performing the automatic unloading process, changes in a network connection are detected in relation to the loss of the network connection and the availability of the network connection, while in response to the detection of the loss of the network connection, the unload queue is set to the suspension state.
