FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of automatic quality control of liquid media, namely the control of viscosity of petroleum oils. An automatic capillary viscometer of liquids contains a gear pump 1 with a drive 2, as well as a coil 4, a pipeline 5 on which a capillary 6 and a pressure difference sensor 7 are installed, the inputs of which are connected to the pipeline before and after the capillary along the liquid flow sequentially connected and placed in the thermostat 3. The viscometer additionally contains a diaphragm 8 installed on the pipeline along the liquid flow behind the capillary, and an additional pressure difference sensor 9, the inputs of which are connected to the pipeline before and after the diaphragm along the liquid flow, while the output of the pressure difference sensor 7 serves to connect it to the input “divisible” of the computing device 11, and the output of the additional pressure difference sensor 9 serves to connect it to the input “divider” of the computing device 11.

EFFECT: creation of a capillary viscometer capable of measuring both dynamic and kinematic viscosity, as well as the density of liquids.
