METHOD FOR TREATING THE DORSAL VENOUS COMPLEX IN RETROPUBIC ADENOMECTOMY Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to urology. Capsule suturing, capsulotomy, and closure of the capsule incision are performed. A distal row of a hemostatic suture is therein applied to the anterior semicircle of the capsule 1 cm caudal to the palpable base of the prostate. The first puncture at 9 o'clock to a depth of 1 cm with an absorbable suture with a diameter from 2-0 to 0 with a pricking needle with a diameter of ½ of the diameter of the circumference and a length of 21 to 25 mm. A transverse blanket suture is then performed with a step of 1 cm, returning 0.5 cm back at the next puncture, completed by tying a knot at 3 o'clock in the clock direction. Similarly, in the opposite direction, starting at 3 o'clock, a proximal row of a transverse blanket suture is applied to the anterior semicircle of the base of the prostate 1 cm cranial to the first suture, up to 9 o'clock in the clock direction. One of the sutures with a needle is used to perform trigonization of the neck of the urinary bladder, tied upon completion with the suture of the opposite side without a needle, the other thread is used to close the incision of the capsule, puncturing and removing the needle directly behind the proximal and distal rows of sutures, the capsule suture line is strengthened by preventively applied proximal and distal rows of blanket sutures.

EFFECT: method ensures stable hemostasis during capsulotomy and capsulorrhaphy, prevents cutting of the sutures and failure of the prostate capsule suture.
