FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: cutting tool comprises cutting plate including cutting section and locating section comprising inner and outer surfaces and peripheral surface extending there between. It comprises through hole extending through inner and outer surfaces. It includes first and second thrust surfaces located on peripheral surface at greater distance from cutting section then through hole, and third thrust surface arranged nearby peripheral surface, closer to cutting section than through hole. It comprises body with seat including base surface, rear wall surface directed across base surface to make boundary of the latter on seat rear end. It includes first and second thrust surfaces located on rear wall surface, third thrust surface directed across base surface and spaced apart from rear wall surface. It has threaded hole made on base surface closer to body front surface than first and second thrust surfaces and farther from front surface than third thrust surface. Note here that cutting plate position is controlled by adjusting screw fitted in through hole to interact with threaded hole. Note also that first, second and third thrust surfaces stay in contact with first, second and third thrust surfaces of the seat.
