FIELD: identification devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of devices for placing identification devices, for example: cards or chips in mobile devices. To achieve expected result, the terminal device includes: a card slot, a SIM module, a memory card module, a switch, a detection circuit and a control circuit. The card slot is configured to accommodate a SIM card or memory card, and the card slot includes the first interface, with the first interface connected to SIM card or memory card via a switch. The first interface is connected to the first pin of the switch. SIM module is connected to the second pin of the switch. The memory card module is connected to the third pin of the switch. The detection circuit is configured to detect that card placed in terminal device is a SIM card or a memory card. The control circuit controls the first pin of the switch to connect to the second pin of the switch or controls the first pin of the switch to connect to the third pin of the switch based on detection result of detection circuit.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility to place a terminal device for either a SIM card or a memory card in slot of the card device, which improves the use of space of the terminal device.
