SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smart cards, particularly to operating system for smart cards and operation method thereof. In the invention a connection status control module detects whether the smart card operating system enters or comes out of the non-contact field and establishes the connection status of the non-contact connection module of the operating system of the smart card based on the detection result. The connection status control module includes a first submodule for detecting whether or not the operating system of the smart card enters the non-contact field and/or comes out of it, and causing interruption when the operating system of the smart card enters the non-contact field and/or comes out of it; and a first submodule for establishing the connection status of the non-contact connection module, as "not busy" status based on the interruption. Non-contact connection can therefore be restored between the operating system of the smart card and a non-contact terminal device.

EFFECT: avoiding disconnection resulting from improper response by the non-contact connection module to a request from a non-contact terminal device when the operating system of the smart card repeatedly enters the non-contact field.
