SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of devices for placing identification devices, such as cards or chips in mobile devices. The technical result is to provide the possibility of placing in the slot of a device for a card of a terminal device for either a SIM card or a memory card, which improves the use of space of the terminal device. To this end, the terminal device includes a card slot, a SIM module, a memory card module, a first switch, a second switch, and a third switch. Wherein, the card slot is configured to accommodate a SIM card or a memory card, the SIM module contains a SIM data interface, a SIM reset interface, and a SIM synchronization interface, and the memory card module contains a first memory card data interface, a second memory card data interface, and a memory card synchronization interface. In response to placing the SIM card in the card slot, the SIM data interface electrically connected to the SIM data interface through the first switch, the SIM reset interface electrically connected to the SIM reset interface through the second switch, the SIM card synchronization interface electrically connected to the SIM reset interface through the third switch. And in response to placing the memory card in the card slot, the first data interface of the memory card is electrically connected to the first data interface of the memory card through the first switch, the second data interface of the memory card is electrically connected to the second data interface of the memory card through the second switch, the third data interface of the card memory card is electrically connected to the third data interface of the memory card through the third switch.

EFFECT: possibility of placing in the slot of a device for a card of a terminal device for either a SIM card or a memory card, which improves the use of space of the terminal device.
