FIELD: material processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heat-treated substrate with a coating containing a layer of diamond-like carbon, and a method for its production. The coating of the said substrate, starting from the substrate, contains in the specified sequence a layer of diamond-like carbon, a metallic single- or multi-layer coating and an oxygen barrier layer. The said metal coating contains tin or an alloy of tin and at least one alloying element for tin, or one or more layers containing tin and one or more layers containing at least one alloying element for tin, arranged alternately. The tin content in the mentioned metal coating is in the range of 50 at. %, up to 100 at. %. In another embodiment of the invention, the specified metal coating contains an alloy of magnesium and at least one magnesium alloying element or one or more layers containing magnesium and one or more layers containing at least one magnesium alloying element arranged alternately. The magnesium content in a single- or multi-layer metal coating is in the range of 50 at. %, up to 100 at. %. The method for obtaining the said substrate with a coating containing a layer of diamond-like carbon includes heat treatment of the said substrate and removal of the oxygen barrier layer and the metal single- or multi-layer coating from the heat-treated substrate by washing.
EFFECT: protective coating is provided for the substrate equipped with DLC layers, which makes heat treatment and, accordingly, quenching without damaging the DLC layer possible, making it easier to obtain a protective coating and its separation after heat treatment.
