Abstract RU 2459773 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat treated glass with a diamond-like coating. At least one layer containing diamond-like carbon is formed on the glass. A protective film is deposited on the layer of diamond-like carbon. If the glass has to be bent in a convex manner, the protective layer must be partially oxidised before the process and contain SnOx, where x ranges from 0.5 to 1.3. If the glass has to be bent in a concave manner, the protective layer must have high content of oxygen and contain SnOx, where x ranges from 0.85 to 2.1. Further, the glass with a layer containing diamond-like carbon, and the protective layer undergo heat treatment. Heat treatment involves heating the glass base to temperature sufficient for thermal tempering and/or hot bending. During the heating process, the protective layer is oxidised and SnOx is converted to SnOy, where y ranges from 1.6 to 2.2.

EFFECT: effective protection of the diamond-like coating from burn-out during the heat treatment process.
