FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: glass substrate has first and second major surfaces. The first major surface is exposed to the tin bath during the production of the glass substrate, and the second major surface, which is opposite to the first major surface, is etched with acid. The first surface is treated with an ion beam to remove the surface portion of the substrate, including contaminants containing tin. After treatment with an ion beam on the first major surface of the layer containing zirconium. Then a diamond-like carbon layer is applied. The substrate with coatings is then heat treated.
EFFECT: smoke reduction in coated glass after heat treatment.
