METHOD FOR DETERMINING PORTOCAVAL ANASTOMOSES OF THE WALL OF THE HOLLOW ORGANS OF THE HUMAN ABDOMINAL CAVITY Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N1/28 G01N1/30

Abstract RU 2761451 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to anatomy, histology, topographic anatomy, pathological anatomy, and pathological anatomy. In order to determine intravenous portocaval anastomoses of the abdominal organs, the pre-washed venous vessels of the organ are filled with histological dye "HistoSafe histological ink". For this purpose, the portal venous system of the hollow organ is filled with orange dye and the caval venous system is filled with blue dye. The organ is then fixed in a 10% solution of buffered formalin. After fixation, the organ is washed with running water. Tissue samples are excised. Histological treatment of the samples is performed, including filling in paraffin and staining the sections with Mayer hematoxylin. The sections are studied using a scanning microscope. The venous vessel being filled with dyes of both colors is considered a portocaval anastomosis.

EFFECT: method provides a possibility of optimising the differentiated study of the portocaval anastomoses of the wall of the hollow organs of the human abdominal cavity in anatomical, histological, topographic anatomical and pathological practices when studying the morphometric and topographic characteristics in health and disease.
