METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MODELS OF HUMAN RECTAL VEINS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G09B23/28

Abstract RU 2545921 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to anatomy, pathological anatomy, topographic anatomy, proctology and gastroenterology, and can be used in studying peculiarities of venous angioarchitectonics of the human rectum in a normal state and in case of a pathology. For this purpose a complex of the rectum with vascular structures is removed. The venous vessels are washed. After that, they are uniformly filled with the injection medium "REDONT-COLIR". The coloured filling mass is pumped into the system of the superior rectal vein with simultaneous pumping of the filling mass, coloured in a different colour, into the system of the middle and inferior rectal veins. Complete filling of the veins is controlled by a simultaneous reverse flow of the filling mass from the said vessels. After that, the preparation is placed into a 10% formalin solution for two days. The organ orifice is filled with mounting foam MACROFLEX. The preparation is placed into the 10% formalin solution for 24 hours for fixation. Casts of the rectal veins and rectum wall are prepared in sharp and obtuse way. The finished preparation is covered with colourless varnish XB-784.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine the exact quantity and place of location of porto-caval anastomoses, at the level of which two venous systems communicate, as well as to optimise manufacturing of models of the rectal veins.
