FIELD: tea industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tea industry. A tea beverage is made from fresh smooth hydrangea leaves subjected to washing, fine grinding and granulation and aging at a temperature of 25 to 27°C and air humidity of 60 to 70% for 24 hours. The leaves are fermented in the drying equipment at a temperature of 60 to 70°C until the moisture content is no more than 12% and the colour of the granules is dark brown.
EFFECT: ensures creation of a new product permitting to preserve all biologically active substances, aromatic and taste qualities of the tea.
