SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mechanization of agriculture, in particular to devices for the preparation of animal feed. The pellet press contains a loading receiving chamber 1, a working chamber with a profiled inner surface 2, containing a receiving area, an intensive mixing area, a barothermal treatment area for the feed mixture and a finished product forming area, a rotating screw 3 located in the working chamber. The screw is wound with a decreasing step in the axial direction and a forming cone 4 at its unloading end. In the zone of intensive mixing, the screw turns are made of sinusoidal configuration 5. The winding step decreases along the entire length of the screw. The forming cone is made in the form of a nozzle, along the perimeter of which there are uniformly spaced cone-shaped holes for pressing granules 6. A two-blade trapezoidal knife 7 is fixed on the screw shaft in the front part with the possibility of adjusting the size of the pressed granules at the outlet of the conical holes.

EFFECT: use of the invention will reduce energy consumption and improve the quality of grinding.
