FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: press-extruder consists of a loading hopper, a hollow housing with the profiled inner surface made in the form of helical corrugations with the direction opposite to the screw rotation. A cone-shaped screw comprising the mixing and the barothermic material treatment zones is rotatably arranged in the housing. The screw winding coils have trapezoidal cutouts in the mixing zone. At the unloading screw end, a moulding cone in the form of a die is made, the surface of which is equipped with evenly spaced cone-shaped openings for the finished product output.
EFFECT: reducing the energy consumption of the extruding process and improving the quality of the finished product.
