FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in installations for technological cooling of water (liquids), mainly for air conditioning systems. The device can also be used as an air humidifier. The invention consists in creating a centrifugal water cooler, in which the retention of a layer of water on the inner surface of a rotating cylindrical pan and the formation of a vacuum in the near-surface (boundary) layer of air is realized. To achieve a vacuum that promotes the boiling of water at a temperature below the temperature of a wet thermometer, in the ambient air (usually about 20°C), in the air boundary layer with water, aerodynamic separators are placed, made movable with the possibility of fixing their position along the radius of the circular cylinder of the pan relative to the rotating surface of the water at a circumferential rotation speed of more than 300 m/s.
EFFECT: simplification of the design, reduction in dimensions.
