FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in gas composition analysis. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the resonant differential optical-acoustic detector includes two independent open acoustic resonators made in the form of straight tubes of circular cross-section, located parallel to each other and connected at the ends with the input and output buffer cavities, while the acoustic resonators are cylindrical in diameter D1 and length L1 and separated by a partition thickness t, microphones are mounted on the side walls in the middle of each acoustic resonator, a sound emitter is mounted in the middle of one of the acoustic resonators opposite the microphone, the input and output buffer cavities are made identical cylindrical in diameter D2 and length L2, the ends of the acoustic resonators are connected to buffer cavities, and the diameter of the buffer cavities depends in a certain way on the diameter of the acoustic resonators and the thickness of the partition separating the acoustic resonators, the length of the buffer cavities L2 is (1…1.5)×D1, the ends of the buffer cavities are closed with transparent windows, and devices for the input/output of the analyzed gas are mounted on the side walls of the buffer cavities.
EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of technical means for the analysis of the gas composition of the air.
