FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to plants for obtaining longitudinal grooves in logs. A log processing plant includes a frame with a copier, a longitudinal guide, on which a trolley is installed equipped with profiling cutting elements, positioning mechanisms with log clamps. The copier is made with the possibility of forming jointed log surfaces taking into account the curvature and conicity of logs, and it is interconnected to profiling cutting elements. The plant is additionally equipped with front and rear positioning mechanisms with log clamps. The copier and cutting elements are made with the possibility of, respectively, setting and forming a response protrusion platform and a groove in two logs at the same time. Front and rear positioning mechanisms with clamps, a drive of perpendicular carriage movement, and a drive of longitudinal carriage movement and a computer numerical control (CNC) unit connected to drives of perpendicular carriage movement and longitudinal carriage movement intended for forming the response protrusion platform and the groove in two logs at the same time are additionally introduced.

EFFECT: accuracy of response surfaces of processed logs is improved.
