FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biodegradable polymer mixture containing at least one component (A) including lactic acid-based polymers, at least one component (B) including thermoplastic starch (TPS), which is a mixture of starch and at least one plasticizer (C) and at least one modifying agent (E), and at least one component (D) including homopolymers or copolymers of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) and/or mixtures thereof, wherein the biodegradable polymer mixture may optionally contain a component (F) including plasticizers for PLA and/or PHA and a component (G), which is a technological additive. The invention also relates to a biodegradable polymer film, which is obtained by mixing components (A) and (B), where the component (B) is present in the mixture for at least one phase of the mixing process, where at least one component (B) and at least one component (A) are mixed simultaneously, and this phase of the mixing process precedes at least one phase of that phase of the mixing process, during which the component (D) is added to the mixture, and optional components (F) and (G) in the form of one or more doses can be added to the mixture during any one or several phases of the mixing process.
EFFECT: biodegradable polymer mixtures according to the invention are characterized by improved tensile strength and/or elongation at break.
