SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for loading onto bulk carriers, as well as to a method for loading onto ships. The device (13) for loading onto bulk carriers contains a smooth sleeve (1), made with the possibility of inserting into the opening of the hatch (5) in the lid (10) of the vessel's hold; a corrugated sleeve (2) located above the smooth sleeve (1) and made with the possibility of absorbing the movements carried out by the VLOC relative to the device; the upper flange (3) for attaching the device (13) to the free end of the pipe (6) of the ship loader (7) and the lower flange (4), made with the possibility of connecting the device (13) with the hatch opening (5) in the lid (10) of the ship's hold. For the method of loading on the VLOC using the device (13), which contains the steps in which: attach the device (13) to the pipe (6) of the ship loader (7); position the pipe (6) of the ship loader (7); position and attach the device (13) to the hatch opening (5) in the lid (10) of the ship's hold; fill the hold and disconnect the device (13) from the hatch (5).

EFFECT: compactness of the structure, as well as convenience, speed and safety of loading onto the vessel are achieved.
