Derivatives of peptide nucleic acid actively induce options of splicing of SCN9A mRNA depleted in SCN9A exon 4 in mammalian cells, due to which they can be used for the safe treatment of different kinds of diseases or conditions involving activity of sodium-ion channels of NaV1.7-type.
