FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to peptide nucleic acid derivatives targeting 3'-splice site of pre-mRNA human SNAP25, and their use for treating a dermatological indication or a condition mediated by high human SNAP25 gene expression. Peptide nucleic acid derivatives actively induce at least a variant of human SNAP25 mRNA splicing in cells and can be used for the safe treatment of dermatological indications or conditions involving human SNAP25 protein expression by local administration.
EFFECT: antisense oligonucleotides for SNAP25 are disclosed.
