SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrument making, specifically to single-frequency linearly polarized fibre lasers with distributed feedback. Compact single-frequency linearly polarized fibre radiation source contains series-connected semiconductor pumping source with optical fibre output, a first spectral-selective splitter, a resonator, an active optical light guide, an optical insulator based on an optical fibre with preservation of polarization, made without blocking one polarization axis of the optical radiation, an output connector, wherein it is equipped with a second spectral-selective splitter, is made without blocking or with blocking of one polarization axis of optical radiation, and the resonator is made in an active optical light guide without preservation of radiation polarization based on a fibre Bragg grating with a phase shift by means of UV radiation or pulsed radiation of a femtosecond laser.

EFFECT: amplification of single polarization component of single-frequency radiation and increase of output radiation power.
