SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. The following are determined as diagnostic indicators: the presence of depression on the Tsung scale: 50 points or less - there is no depression, they indicate 0. More than 50 points - there is depression, they indicate 1; serum creatinine, mcmol/l. End diastolic size of the left ventricle (LV EDS), cm; ischemia in case of 24-hour ECG monitoring: 0 - no, 1 - present. Left atrium (LA) size, cm; left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), %; aldosterone, pg/ml. Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), mcIU/ml; bilirubin in blood serum, mcmol/l. Based on the data obtained, the index of the likelihood of developing myocardial infarction is calculated using the formula. If the probability index is less than 17 conventional units, a low risk of developing myocardial infarction (MI) is predicted - the disease will not develop within the next three years. If the value of the probability index is 17 points or more, the likelihood of developing myocardial infarction within the next three years is high.

EFFECT: method allows to reliably predict the development of myocardial infarction in patients with stable coronary artery disease (CAD) due to the simultaneous accounting of the totality of indicators diagnostically significant for this disease.
