FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to antiseptic agents for oral care and their use for the treatment or prevention of infectious and inflammatory diseases of nasal and oral cavities. The proposed antiseptic agent for oral and nasal cavities is characterized by that it contains chlorhexidine, glycerin or glycerol, tea tree oil or extract, purified water and colloidal silver or Ag+ silver ions with the following component ratio, wt.%: colloidal silver or Ag+ silver ions 0.04-0.06, chlorhexidine bigluconate 20% solution 0.04-0.12, glycerin or glycerol 13-17, tea tree oil or tea tree extract 0.02 -0.04, purified water – up to 100. The use of the above-mentioned agent for the treatment or prevention of infectious and inflammatory diseases of nasal and oral cavities is also proposed, as well as a method for the treatment or prevention of such diseases, for which the agent is applied to the oral or nasal mucosa 2-4 times a day for 5-10 days.
EFFECT: proposed agent has high organoleptic properties, is effective for the complex treatment or prevention of infectious and inflammatory diseases of nasal and oral cavities during irrigation of oral cavity and nose, without causing allergic reactions.
